Supplier Terms and Conditions

“We”, “Us”, “PIC” and “Our” are references to Property Information Company Limited, a Company Registered in England and Wales under Company Number: 09778810.

“You” and “Your” are references to You, the Supplier of Services to Us.

“Services” means the supply of services by you to us (excluding any third-party Services). Any Services You provide will be on these Conditions, as may vary from time to time, to the exclusion of all other Terms and Conditions, unless as otherwise agreed in writing.

“Order” means each request for Searches or Data by Us.

“Searches” means the property searches in respect of the Property as set out in the Order.

“Data” means the information collated by You and supplied to Us.

“Customer” means the entity who has instructed us on behalf of their Client.

In providing Us with Services, You shall:

1. Perform the Services with the best care, skill, and diligence in accordance with best practice in Your industry, profession, or trade, and in accordance with the PCCB Search Code.


2. Co-operate with Us in all matters relating to the Services, and comply with Our instructions.


3. Use personnel who are suitably skilled and experienced to perform tasks assigned to them, and in sufficient number to ensure that Your obligations are fulfilled in accordance with this Agreement.


4. Ensure that the Services will conform with all descriptions, standards, and specifications set out in the Order, and that the Data shall be fit for any purpose that We expressly or impliedly make known to You.


5. Provide all equipment and such other items as are required to provide the Services.


6. Obtain and at all times maintain all licences and consents which may be required for the provision of the Services.


7. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, regulatory policies, guidelines, or industry codes (including the PCCB Search Code) which may apply from time to time to the provision of the Services, and with any other Policies supplied by Us from time to time relating to the Order or the provision of the Services.


8. Hold all materials, equipment and tools, drawings, specifications, and data supplied by Us to You in safe custody at Your own risk, maintain the Materials in good condition until returned to Us, and not dispose or use the Materials other than in accordance with Our written instructions or authorisation.


9. Not do or omit to do anything which may cause Us to lose any licence, authority, consent, or permission on which We rely for the purposes of conducting Our business, and the Supplier acknowledges that We may rely or act on the Services.


10. Not do or omit to do anything which may cause Us to be in breach of any contract with Our Customers.


11. You acknowledge that the Services may be relied upon by third parties including (but not limited to) our Customers and their Clients. We will not nor will our Customers or their Clients need to obtain your written consent to pass on the Services to third parties.
